Pablo de Gortari.JPG

Pablo de Gortari

Pablo was born in Mexico City, where his passion for art and aesthetics started from a young age.  By mixing skills from illustration, animation and painting, his work combines the spontaneity of sketches with the delicacy of painting.

Art for Pablo has always been a way to escape reality and his images and palettes are strongly influenced by fantasy and mythical elements.

Characterisation is Pablo's main focus, showcasing emotions and state of mind as each figurative work exists almost within their own unique narrative.  Inspired by Spanish portraiture from the 1600s Pablo brings his unique surrealist contemporary interpretation.

We are proud to represent Pablo’s work in the Nordics and you can book a private view of his work at our Malmö gallery.
